Assassin Snail

Assassin snails are great colorful additions to most tanks assuming there aren’t snail eating fish present and are very effective at decimating pest snails and freshwater limpets quickly. They also eat excess foods and help stir up your substrate.Mostly carnivorous, Assassin snails should be supplemented with protein foods if there are no snails for them to hunt. They breed and grow slowly and thus will not overpopulate your tank as well. Your water should have some calcium present to ensure healthy shell growth. There are minimal reports of them hunting shrimp, we use them across all our shrimp tanks and have never noticed any issues.
